  • Why are Smart Goggles better than a smart watch?
    A watch is on your wrist and hard to see when you are swimming! Smart Goggles are designed to be used for swimming. They measure and display your swim in real time and in your Smart Goggles. No need to stop swimming to See your Swim. Having our solution in your goggles provides better accuracy and measurement.
  • What information will I see in the Smart Goggles?
    Ciye is excited to let you "See Your Swim". While swimming you will see: Your splits, laps, rest and swim time at a glance. After you swim and upload to the App you can see: Your swim details and pace, lap details, totals for swim time and rest and how you are doing relative to your swim goals.
  • How do Smart Goggles make swimming more fun?
    You get to See your Swim as you swim. Try new techniques and see how it impacts your splits! Share your swim or compete virtually with friends. Set goals for distance, time or swims per week and let us automatically track your progress. When you reach new milestones, we will let you know in the App.
  • How much to Smart Goggles cost?
    You can buy the Ciye powered Smart Goggles at FINIS, Swim Outlet or Amazon. The MSRP is $199 and includes: 1) Smart Goggles 2) Access to the App to sync your swims and review your history 3) Carrying case and charging cable 4) Ciye Coach display to snap into your Smart Goggles
  • How do I add a new pool?
    Open the Pools tab and click on Add New Pool
  • My pool is not one of the lengths listed for a pool?
    Open the Pools tab and click on the “Custom
  • How do I show two different pools at my club?
    Open the Pools tab and click Add Pool to enter a second pool for your pool location.
  • How do I change from yards to meters/meters to yards?
    Open the Pools tab and update the unit of measure for your pool from m (meters) to yd (yards).

  • I can’t quite see the display, even after moving it to the edge?"
    There could be several reasons why the display is a bit off. The first thing to try is to adjust it from the app. a) Pair your goggles to the app. b) Wear your goggles as if you were going swimming (don’t just hold them up to your eyes). c) In the app select “Adjust Goggles Screen”. Use the arrows to adjust the position of the text on the display. If you are still having trouble please try a different nose bridge (included in the Goggles box) and repeat the above steps
  • Can I customize what I see in the goggles?
    Yes, please connect your Ciye Smart Goggles to the App and from the Goggles page, select “Customize goggles Screen”. From there you can select your desired Display type from the drop down menu.
  • I would like to see a different set of metrics when I swim?
    Click on the Goggles tab and connect your Smart Goggles to the Ciye App. Go to the “Customize Goggles Screen” to access the HUD Configurator. From there you can select your desired Display type from the drop down menu.
  • How do I change the brightness of the display?
    From the goggles screen, connect your Smart Goggles to the Ciye App and select “Adjust Goggles Screen”. Use the brightness slider to adjust.
  • The display is not bright enough?
    You have two options - one is to get a pair of mirror goggles at www.finisswim.com or you can increase the brightness on the tab.
  • How much do your Smart Goggles cost?

  • What units are used to show my swim distance?
    The app displays the distance in the units of the pool. Make sure to set up the correct units for your pool.
  • What do I do if I see residue on the Ciye Coach metal posts?
    Please always rinse your goggles with fresh water after a swim. If you do get residue on your Ciye Coach, you can remove it with rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth. Be careful not to touch the lens.
  • How is the company name pronounced?
    “See”, as in See Your Swim
  • Can I use this for open water swimming?
    Yes, go for it. We will show you your swim time.
  • What do I do if my ciye Coach is having trouble charging?

  • Can I use it with multiple goggles?
    Yes, but they need to be the FINIS goggles built to hold the Ciye Coach. Available in a mirror and smoke lens options at www.finisswim.com
  • How do I turn off the Ciye Smart Goggles?
    The Goggles will turn off automatically after you close the App.
  • How do I share my swim on Strava?
    Open the Ciye App and go to the Profile page. Scroll down to the bottom to connect to Strava.
  • How do I set/change my goals?
    Open the Ciye App and go to the Profile page.. Go to the Goals section and update to meet your desired goals.
  • When does the week start for goals?
    We go by the international standard ISO 8601 and Monday is the first day of the week. And Sunday is the 7th and last day of the week.
  • How do I add a friend?
    From the News tab, tap on the “+ Find Friends” button. Enter your friends username or email to send them an invitation.
  • How do I share a swim?
    You can automatically share your swim event if you have not added friends. If you want to share a single swim, go to the History tab. Select the swim you want to share and tap on “See details”. Use the Share icon in the upper right corner to share your swim time, swim distance or both.
  • How do I refer a friend?
    Just send them to www.finisswim.com
  • How do you calculate Calories?
    We use a standard calculator incorporating swim time, age, weight and gender.
  • Why do you need my gender, weight and date of birth?"
    We use your gender, weight and age to calculate calories and we use your gender and age for leaderboards and competitions.
  • How does it coach me?
    The Ciye Coach provides you real time feedback while you swim. For example, you can try a new technique and see the impact on your time.
  • What is the battery life of the Smart Goggles?
    The battery should last 4-6 hours depending on your use. We recommend you charge them after every swim.
  • How do I reset the goggles?
    Place a magnet next to the Ciye Coach until you see an orange light come on and keep the magnet in place until the rest of the lights come on and off and the yellow light starts flashing.
  • How do I sync my swim data?
    You need to connect the Smart goggles to the App. Open the App and go to the Goggles screen. You can connect to the app in one of three ways: 1) Long press the button (3 seconds) or 2) Connect your Smart Goggles to the charger or 3) The Smart Goggles will look for the Ciye App for ten minutes after you finish your swim. Just open the App and it will connect and sync for you.
  • Does the Ciye Coach sync with my smart watch?
    No. The Ciye Coach syncs to the Ciye App. Once synced your swim summary can be shared with Strava.
  • Does the Ciye Coach in the Smart Goggle connect via BLE?
    Yes. A yellow light will flash to indicate you have an active BLE connection.
  • The goggles missed a turn, what do I do?"

    Our apologies for missing one of your stops. When you reach the end of the pool (or lake or ocean) we look to see if you turned around or stopped. Sometimes on slower turns we calculate that you actually stopped. If it happens regularly, please email us at support@ciye.co.
